Patrick S. Taylor

Patrick S. Taylor is the founder of 59Media (www.59-media.com), an independent communications consultancy that provides digital and traditional companies, executives, and organizations with communications planning, strategy, and execution.  Previously, he served as the Vice President, Communications for the Meredith Corporation (NYSE:MDP) the sixth largest media company in the world, where he oversaw internal and external communications for the company’s broad portfolio of brands, business and content units, and digital media operations.

 Prior to joining the Meredith Corporation, he held senior-level executive communications positions for media companies such as Rodale Inc., and senior account management positions with several public relations and public affairs agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather Public Affairs in Washington, D.C., and M Booth & Associates in New York.

 He began his career working in government and politics serving as the political director for one of the nation’s oldest political action committees, The National Committee for an Effective Congress (NCEC). Founded by Eleanor Roosevelt in 1948, it is one of the America's most politically active independent progressive PAC’s focused on electing progressive candidates to Congress.
