Susan Gilbert Cohen is a marketing professional with 30+ years of experience helping organizations engage audiences, shape narratives, and drive meaningful action. Her career spans leadership roles in consulting, professional services, and higher education, with a consistent focus on mission-driven work that raises awareness, builds partnerships, and strengthens organizational impact.
As Managing Partner of Diversity Marketing and Communications (2015–2025), Susan led strategy and execution for communications and outreach programs for the U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Labor, the New Jersey Departments of Community Affairs and Transportation, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, PSE&G, Rutgers University, and others. She has deep expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and content development, with a proven ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, relevant messages.
Susan has a strong record of nonprofit leadership and volunteer service. She previously served on the Board of Trustees of Family Connections and the Board of Trustees of JESPY House, where she also co-chaired the Marketing Committee. Her volunteer work includes service with Temple B’nai Jeshurun, Parkinson’s Foundation, Morris County Chamber of Commerce, and Women in Transportation Society – New Jersey Chapter.
